In it's land area, there is no doubt that this country gives a beautiful landscapes from forests to shorelines. This nation is used to be a part of the soviet union that countries are based on Communism. Today, Russia's government is under the rule of Democracy.
Russia has a lot to offer but we will limit this places into five.
Best known as Kremlins. This complex consists of five palaces, four cathedrals, and Kremlin tower that is enclosed by Kremlin walls. Kremlin served as the Russian Federation President's official residence. We can compare this to the white house in the US.
The second largest Art & Culture museum in the world. Found in St. Petersburg, Russia. The museum displays the impressive collection and paintings from Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky, A merchant from Berlin. The collection of Artworks in this museum reaches up to three million including paintings and sculptures from the Europeans, Egyptians, and other cultures all over the world.
Also known as Pretodvorets. This is one of the popular tourist attractions in St. Petersburg, Russia. Peterhof Palace is is a series of gardens and palaces. Its natural feature is the cliff that is sixteen meter in height. In between of the cliff and the shoreline lies the majority of the fountains of Peterhof together with several tiny palaces and buildings.
This place is used to be the residence of the Russian Monarch from 1732 to 1917. Now, it is a part of the hermitage museum. Winter Palace is constructed to show the power of the imperial Russia. This place plays an important role in St Petersburg's history and Winter Palace served as the witness in these events whether it is political or cultural history of the city.
It is one of the dominant structures in St. Petersburg, Russia.
This church was built where Emperor Alexander II was assasinated. Its architecture is different from any other structure in St. Petersburg. Church of the Savior on the Blood's design is a throwback to the medieval Russian architecture together with the spirit of romantic nationalism and resembles the 17th century Yaroslavl churches.
Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world. It is located in Siberia, Russia. Lake Baikal is surrounded by network of hiking paths called Great Baikal Trail. It is popular destination in summertime because of wildlife-spotting tour together with Ice skating and dog sleeding in the winter.
